taking the back off your keyboard in no way helps you clean the gunk between the keys, although you do get a lot of screwdriver practice as there are 11 screws on the back, I guess maybe that's to deter you from taking it apart...
in the end I learned that with a butter knife you can easily pry off the keys individually, thus allowing you to clean beneath them. Now that I know then, the next time something falls down, I will simple pry up the key and remove it...
oh yes, and the blue thing wasn't mold only a scrap of blue paper glued to the key with a drop of dried yogurt, I know that's gross, you can laugh...
